Disappointing result. Paid a good chunk of money for a design and consult. It took more than a year and was very underwhelming. Eventual quote I got was extremely high. I may not be the easiest customer, but I felt misled and the result was mostly wasted time and $.
The staff at The Natural Garden took our ideas and made them a reality that we could not have done alone. From design to upkeep, The Natural Garden was there. We now have a front yard full of native Virginia plants and flowers that are also pollinators. Julia and Jim.
Our journey with The Natural Garden was super. The first great experience was just the simple pleasure of Karl’s enthusiasm for what he does. It’s a breath of fresh air to meet someone so excited and happy about what he does for a living. He spent a lot of time with us honing our plan and driving us around to see completed projects so we could see what these landscapes look like. Karl Shank breached the contract and mismanaged the money given to him for a project that he never started. He refused to return the money upon my request, forcing me to have to resort to legal means to get my money back. Unfortunately, he and his team drew a beautiful masterplan for our property, but he failed to pay attention to details like crossing property lines and other things. I can't recommend him at all. Natural Garden rocks. The people are great and the work they do is fabulous.
