Wide variety of healthy - mostly organic - meals. Service staff is pleasant and there's usually ample seating either inside or out in front on the sidewalk. As with most downtown location, it can get busy during the lunch hour.
Great Healthy Food I eat at the Natural Cafe all the time. . .to the point where they know me by name and can guess what I am going to order. They have a great selection of healthy meals and are vegetarian friendly. I feel like I am eating a healthy meal whenever I eat there. . .well, except for the cream soups. :o) The workers are very friendly. Their enchiladas, salads, turkey burgers, and stuffed spuds are yummy.
Great healthy food. Vegetarian/non-vegetarian food. Try the cabo fish tacos (voted best in Santa Barbara) and the Old Town Salad (add grilled tofu or chicken). There are 3 locations in town, I like the Hitchcock location the best, because there is lots of room (including two patios).
best veggie burger in town This place is great--not only is it a paradise for vegetarians, but the meat-dependent will find plenty of great stuff too. In my opinion, they have the best veggie burger in town, the Natural Burger. They grill it on a real grill, top it with grilled onions and thousand island dressing, and serve it with lettuce and tomato. I recommend it with cheddar cheese. At about $7, it's a pretty good deal. There was meat in my vegetarian burrito. Manager didn’t seem to care.
RecommendedExcellent food! Many choices for a healthy meal and very reasonable prices.
At Santa Maria location....Attitude of girl taking our order today absolutely sucked. We have been coming here for a few years regularly and may not come back again. Besides the bad attitude, we couldn’t find a clean table even though there were only 2 other tables occupied.
