An amazing place to go for health and healing in NYC – This place is great. I am not new to colonics, but I must say this place far surpasses any other treatment center that I have been to. The receptionist is super friendly and there is a genuinely warm feel to the place. Avoid! – I received a colonic for the first time today and IN SHORT: This is a maximum profit clinic, very rushed through the motions, endless upselling, very generic and unwholesome experience. Worst of all is the sign in the bathroom that reads: "Tips are not expected but are greatly appreciated." I Did Not Come For The Decor – I may be new to the New York area - but I am not new to Colonics. I originally hail from Hollywood CA, where colonic centers are 2 to a block. I have been into detoxification, juicing, and internal cleansing for as long as I can remember, so to come across a center that impresses the likes of me - is RARE! Really good – I really didn't know what to think and what to expect. I was shown a video and asked if I had any questions. I totally enjoyed it. I will go again. I will purchase a series the next time.
Michael Moore Sicko Movie – I am an M.D. who has known Dr. Trisha and her practice for the past 20 years. Insurance has never been part of her center. Ten yrs ago, as today, she has been an advocate with trying to attain coverage for the poor. The same people who post negative comments on the internet are the same people who do not realize that search engines do not follow up on outcomes of cases. Go see Michael Moors movie Sicko and educate yourself.
Dr. Trish is VERY THIN .. – WOW - WHAT LIES THE COMPETITION WRITES ABOUT.... even to go so far as to say, Dr.Trish is 30 pounds overweight. If she weighs 115 lbs soaking wet, that is alot.... today was my first treatment and I am planing to return back over and over again. I feel great just from this first time. Yes, many people are told to do the same program, and to take the same vitamins - why, BECAUSE WHAT THEY DO WORKS! The evnironment is very clean, beautiful bathrooms and a freindly staff. It was OK – I mean the place was alright. As an earlier review stated, it is a bit dated but kept clean enough. You do not get a robe in a sanitized package as the video you are forced to watch before the procedure states. I DID NOT receive my consultation with the doctor nor was I even asked about it. I received a questionnaire but no one went over it with me. The staff was pretty friendly and I felt pretty good after the procedure. I mean it wasn't five star or anything but, nonetheless, I'll be going back this week....
Great first time experience – I visited The Natural Alternative Center on West 72nd Street, I only had to walk 1 block from the subway, so that was good. Also the service and Kindness of the staff allowed me to feel very, very comfortable for my first time. The treatment rooms were very neat and clean and the bathrooms were beautifully tiled.
