About this business

For almost 60 years, this attraction has been puzzling its visitors with its bizarre phenomena. Apparently, there are unusual deviations in gravity, mysterious inflections of light and altering perceptions of velocity and space. The staff takes you on a tour of the property, and you can witness all sorts of mysterious phenomena. It is a great place for the kids (and the adults who love them). This attraction is open every day of the year.

Weird, Exciting, odd.. lots of fun! This is the coolest place to go!! The Mystery Spot of Santa Cruz is so weird, and entertaining!! You can walk from one area and look very tall, but at the next round, you look really short and you can seem like your tilting one way, its just weird, but so fun to check out and the tours and history of the place is great! I highly recommend going on the tour where they explain what is going on to you, the guides are very knowledgable and very friendly!! Fun, Crazy place ^_^

World Travelers visit the Mystery Spot! Every time I go to the Mystery Spot, I am impressed by the cosmopolitan group waiting their turns - people from all over the world! It is a classic "mystery" space, with balls rolling uphil, brooms standing up on their own, people shrinking and growing. A lot of fun! Just a warning - the first hike up the hill is a doozy!

Wacky! this popular attraction is fun for everyone of all ages. laws of physics don't apply here (could be fake. don't know) so water runs up and you constantly feel like you're floating. excellent place because it's incredibly cheap ($5). Encourages a different type of thinking which is good for kids. Highly recommended

The Mystery Spot This is a good place to have under your belt. Its a good place to go to if u want entertainment for a couple of hours and don't want to spend a fortune. Five bucks a person is all it takes. It seems like a scam, but then again it gets you to think. Its really a plkace that you can't explain, its like a mirage. People seem to be different hights whereever they go. Some laws of physics dont apply. Just a good place to come see, take a friend!

So Bad it's ALMOST Good This place is ridiculous. The more you want to believe that there's some sort of crazy anamoly suspending the laws of physics in this strange 'mystery' spot, the more you might enjoy yourself. The cheap entrance price (which includes free bumper sticker!!!!) makes it feel less like a rip-off and more like you've been the victim of a harmless mass practical joke.

Goofy but Great Whenever we have visitors come that have not been here before we undoubtedly wind up taking a day trip toward Santa Cruz and stop at the Mystery Spot. This little optical illusion tour is fun and interesting. Give it a try if you haven't been.
