We had the crab cake special. We have gotten this before and it has always been good. Tonight it had so much filler and someone over did it the Ole Bay. We got the chips and queso as an appetizer and the tomatoes that were on it were not drained and our chips were soggy. The waitress did bring us a new plate of chips. I think the Mount Airy Tavern is a great place to go for dinner. I had the pork ribs and they were awesome. Fall off the bone with a great sauce. My husband had the crab cake and said it was almost all crab meat. Oh and I almost forgot , the cream of crab soup was to die for . I'm going to go back on a Thursday because the special is ribs. The service was wonderful. Cheri took great care of us. It was our anniversary and she took our picture for us and even left me a sweet message on my carryout carrot cake. This is most consistently good restaurant in Mt. Airy. Food quality. Service. You can count on it. The Reuben sandwich, crab cake, crab soups, and sliders are top choices. The Caesar salad with salmon would be an item to skip!
The staff are lovely, the food is good, we love this place
Solid menu, nice beer selection, well stocked bar and very good drink menu
Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Price is right also.
