I’ve lived at one of their properties for the past three years, and until recently, I really had a positive experience with Mount Vernon. They were responsive, kept the building well maintained, and were always professional to deal with, which is why this situation has been disappointing. First off Ill start by saying our time with Mount Vernon was great, and we chose the apartment we did because they were extremely courteous, and seemed to actually take tenant's best interests in mind. They kept the building clean, maintained, and were nothing but kind and pleasant to deal with. That being said, we re-signed our lease less than a month ago, only for them to sell our building, and others they own in the area, without warning to the most notorious slumlord in Boston, with 0 notice until the DAY we swapped mana... read more

Great Laundry Solution for Apartment houses
Absolutely horrible communication. Multiple rodent requests get ignored, had to threaten to call the city to get a response. Our manager Matt ignores every email and phone call so nothing gets fixed or addressed. They also send maintenance into our apartment with no notice or warning, who then leave doors open while our AC is on all day. We have also had homeless people break in and squat in the basement and that was brushed right under the rug by them
