Molly Rouse is an exceptional postpartum doula, a rare jewel of supportive, grounded presence and compassion. Molly supported our family after the birth of my son (my second child). I met Rachel during my 36th week of pregnancy. I felt like we immediately had a connection! She is SO sweet and really helped me during my labor. Rachel got out of bed and rushed to the hospital at 2am even though she had a new born of her own at home. She used aroma therapy and helped me get into different positions to make my labor easier. I am so grateful that Michele was our doula and stuck with us through all 30+ hours of labor and delivery! Her support was so integral and probably the reason I was able to avoid a C-section and get our boy here safely!
I absolutely love these ladies! The mothership is such a safe space for all mammas, all parenting styles and all to feel loved. I started coming to the new mom's group when my baby was 2 months and we have returned every week since! They offer so much to the community.
I love all the doulas at mothership, but have had the great pleasure to work with Molly through my pregnancy. She cooked for me and nourished both my body and soul when I was so sick that I couldn't do it for myself. I am glad of her friendship and all I have learned from her. I highly recommend her services in the postpartum time as well as the services of the others as well. I wish I would have known about postpartum doula services after my first child. I am so glad I do now!
