Homeless sleeping in the hallways, drug paraphernalia in common areas. Security company that doesn't show up, maintenance who doesn't respond or fix anything, bug infested. Management doesn't care or fix. And just given platitudes, but if you sign a lease you can spin a prize wheel! Dont rent here it's BAD!
If I could give a 0, I would. I have only lived here for two months, but this is the worst experience I have ever had in my life while living in an apartment. To begin with, my move in date was scheduled to be December 1, 2025. I showed up, money order in hand, just to be told that my unit wasn't ready. Worst place to live in your entire life. Don’t live here because you just might never wake up. This place will cause you to question your very existence in the near future. If you are arachnophobic then you won’t like that. Also the company is being sued (not montecito but their owners) also there legal representatives are also being sued for charging too much to indigent tenants that cure rent, and for the illegal practices they engage in. Complex is refusing to allow residents impacted by a fire in November of this year back in their apartments to retrieve their belongings. They have only been allowed in once for 15 minutes. The complex has refused entry and has refused to explain why. I would not rent here. Either something shady is going on or they are just really terrible communicators.
