Great lunch today and Kerry was Awesome! The cold lobster roll was delicious and the bread pudding was a great closer on a hot day! Great support of #dtlocalusa as well!!
Was not impressed with this place at all very hot in the place Atmosphere was very loud hard to even have a conversation with anyone
Montauk has a cool vibe, food is great, however bar service is not good! Sat at the bar for a late lunch and the bar back had to nudge the two bartenders to serve the customers (other people commented to us about the poor service before anyone even gave us water) our bartender did not even know how to poor a Guinness--got a foamy glass set in front of my husband. Always a good time for drinks, appetizers and dinner. Relaxing atmosphere.
As always the atmosphere was great but due to the Kentucky derby they were out of ginger beer so I couldn't get my favorite drink the watermelon mule. It did force me to try the rose sangria which was delicious. I will say that because there was 9 of us it seemed a little too much for the waitress to handle but the manager took care of us. I will definitely go back but just with a smaller group.
