Great service, cocktails and food. Ate here on Wednesday and stopped for desert on Thursday. The butterscotch pudding with rum whipped cream is the s--t.

People of and near Boise Idaho... I hope you all know how wildly lucky you are to be in such close proximity to culinary perfection. Not to mention the mixology mastery of a little place called The Modern Hotel. I am at a loss for words. The hotel, the food, the custom, handcrafted drinks... Spectacular! If you have the opportunity, go see Michael and have him make you a Viceroy. I will dream of that for weeks to come.

I loved the atmosphere and thought it would be a great place to spend new years eve. Plain and simple they sucked.... We checked into our hotel thinking we would catch a drink around 5-6pm before the festivities. They told us the bar was closed for a private party. OK so they told us to come back after midnight that they would be open to celebrate until 1am. Wrong, we came back shortly after the potato dropped not stopping at any other place in town, saving ourselves for the Modern. Well, they changed their plans and closed ... read more
