I love these stores and when I'm bored I go onto the website to see what's new. We have purchased several pieces of furniture from the stores and are pleased with them. My last purchase was on line - a gorgeous Ethan Allen cabinet that I bought site unseen. The gals in the store were very helpful with measurements and a better description. It was delivered as promised and it is in amazing condition. I love this particular piece.

I think employees/friends are writing these 5 star reviews only. :) LOL. I use to love to shop at the missing piece in south tampa when they first opened. Then it started becoming just another retail store offering new furniture. Prices went up. Went on the Clearwater website to see what is there, and WOW....prices went up there to. The purpose was to find good bargains, along with items that are different, but can see it's not like it use to be either. So disappointing. highly recommended because

I purchased 3 pieces-2 vintage chests and a mid century desk. What a great experience! From sale to delivery, first class service at bargain prices. I have since shopped around other consignment and antiques stores-nothing compares to the condition and pricing I found at The Missing Piece, Tampa.

The absolute best place to visit to purchase items to furnish your home. The prices are reasonable and the furnishings are high quality.

"The Missing Piece is the only "establishment with consigned merchandise" that I dare to shop on-line. I visit their site atleast three times a week in search of both eclectic and contemporary furnishings and accents for my home and garden terrace. I have purchased several items without hesitation. I phone the store and ask any questions I may have concerning the item and I can be assured of receiving a forthright honest asnwer as to the quality, size and condition of the piece. I Love it!! (PS... The store is fabulous too!!... read more

"I¿ve been a loyal customer of your store since it first opened and whenever I'm in south Tampa I always stop by to see if there is a bargain I can't live without. I was out shopping for a holiday dress and was actually headed to Steinmart but I had to stop by The Missing Piece to see what was new. I spotted this beautiful white sateen floral print couch and it was marked down to $100.00! Could this be right? Now my dilemma - do I buy the couch, or go get the dress? I bought the couch! "I have purchased several pieces from The Missing Piece and have been very pleased with my finds. One very notable experience was when I purchased a TV entertainment system and had it delivered to my home. One year later, I decided to resell it, and had them consign it for me. It was sold the very next day. The best part of the story is that several weeks later, I was visiting some friends at their home, and saw the piece in their living room. The situation was quite humorous. Maybe it will surface in someone else's home tha... read more
