Scumbags. Dolphins need to be released from your pools.
To the Mirage Hotel....it is unbelievable that you would continue to have this disgustingly cruel venue called the Secret Garden that has pathetic pools for these beautiful animals to be captive in. Dolphins swim miles and miles in the ocean where they belong,not in your cement baby pool that literally is cooking them to death...who is giving the green light for such an inhumane venue???? Impressive hotel, Great location! Really enjoyed our stay! Will definitely be back!! Great food in the burger and deli restaurant! But did really need coffee facility in the room!!!
CANNOT Believe the Mirage has a tiny little BATHTUB for those dolphins!! I am completely sickened and disgusted at that place and i will never go there again. There is a ton of people Boycotting the Mirage for this severe abuse of those dolphins and the management is going to be hearing from a lawyer soon. The owners of the Mirage are not going to like the massive protesting and action thats going to be taken against them for their horrific abuse of marine dolphins. I don't think much of this place as they are making money from poor abused dolphins
Several dolphins have pox and are not being treated! These dolphins have no where to escape the extreme heat, very little shade and pool not deep enough to escape the sun!! Do not pay them any of your money!!
I'm sad I have to give 1 star. I wish I could take stars away. I will never step foot into your animal abuse and cruelity place. You need to live in your bathtub , but in the desert sun with no shade. I want to add that even if you put up shade it is not good enough. You need to give the animals freedom. I thought about staying there, but will not as long as you practice cruelity and abuse
I would not be caught dead in a place that keeps dolphins in captivity, particularly one that does so under such appallingly awful conditions. A shallow pool with no shade in the desert???? It doesn't take a genius to know this is an unacceptable environment to keep marine animals in. As long as the dolphins are there I will never set foot on the property and I will discourage anyone from doing so every chance I get.
