I will not be visiting this hotel until the dolphins are where they are supposed to be; the sea! Shame on you mirage hotel for treating these animals the way you do. I have many friends who travel to Vegas and I've made sure to spread the word. Slowly you will lose more and more respect for what your doing.
I do not support nor will I ever visit a hotel that treats animals the way their dolphins are treated. Those dolphins should not be there and I hope enough people give this place a bad review until they change this.

Cruel and selfish acts: Keeping the dolphins in captivity. They do not belong there.
I love this hotel, stayed 5 times in trips from UK, great location, good choice of bars and restaurants comfortable rooms, great pool and not as expensive as some of the newer hotels (rooms, food and drink wise). Recently stayed at Aria, Planet Hollywood and Caesars but for me Mirage is home from home

The hotel is beautiful but the poor rating is entirely due to the cruelty MGM Mirage inflict on dolphins. It is barbaric to keep dolphins in tiny chlorinated pools with no shade in the desert. It's not only dolphins that are kept at the mirage but a variety of big cats too, all in tiny enclosures. Very cruel.
