Been a resident here for a while and I’m disappointed with how amenities and maintenance get handled. The hot tub has been out of service for months. I’ve submitted multiple requests and the response is basically that they don’t have to fix it. It’s also consistently dirty, which tells you how much attention the common areas actually get. On top of that, they won’t offer any rent adjustment for amenities that aren’t working, as if paying for features you can’t use is just fine. I don’t recommend living here unless you like your cortisol through the roof! It is NOT 4.5 stars. First off, they tell residents to post 5-star reviews on their website in order to be able to participate in free events. I’ve lived here since they first opened, and I’ve had various issues with the management team. From false lease information, to my own car being towed from the parking garage that I pay to park in, to blaring false fire alarms throughout the middle of the night right before an exam—it has been awful. I had multiple disappointing experiences living at the Met, most of which stemmed from management’s lack of communication and accountability. Since I renewed my transfer lease last year, I repeatedly asked to be placed on a specific floor over the phone, in person, and by email, almost 10 times in total. Every time, I was told a note would be added and that they would do their best to accommodate my request. This is the greatest elevator ever of anywhere I’ve ever been in my life. It is so instant it does not feel like any time passed.
Great place but returned my payment and made me jump through hoops to pay. Only way I can directly impact them right away is this rating.
