After 11 months at The Merrick, I can write my honest review. When you enter the building via car port, it is extremely slow due to someone from the area trying to break in, management has done nothing to fix this. Though be mindful, this is a gated car port and spots are only $125/month, great pricing for what I’ve seen around Portland. I’ve been living here for 3.5 years, and that says a lot by itself. The management and staff have always been kind and professional. Any issues are usually resolved quickly, and communication has been easy. The property is well maintained, and I’ve enjoyed living here.
I had the opportunity to tour The Merrick with Faye. I am going through a transition in life and Faye's relaxed and friendly demeanor was over and beyond awesome. I hope to call The Merrick home in the near future. Thank you for making it easy ;)
The most amazing janitor/maintenance person we’ve ever had!!! She is always super nice and friendly and in the three years I’ve lived here she was always a constant presence that we depended on as we move away now we hope she stays that way and that she gets a promotion soon!! The best staff in the world won't make up for living in a nightmare. Yes, the leasing office and maintenance staff are wonderful, lovely, attentive people. But this building and the surrounding area is an absolute dump. Don't be fooled by all the money they spent on making the front office (and only the front office) look nice.
