Good Food, Great Beer Along with the Libertine on Greenville, this place is most excellent. The location across from the main Fair Park entrance makes it feel like you walked through the looking glass. The area has the potential to be on the way up, but is still a little sketchy for those afraid of train tracks. It's a great date night place too, if you're into the shows at Fair Park since you can grab some food and beverages and walk right over. Words cannot describe the food. I know this is a bar, but man, words cannot describe how good the food is. We're not talking cheese fries and the rest of that standard bar fare, I'm talking crawfish chili that is indescribable. AND it's half-price on Wednesday. I'm not trying to downplay that it's a bar, it's most definitely that, but it's a bar where you can get your grub on and not feel like a glutinous sloth the next day.
