I went in yesterday to the ER. Everyone was so nice and respectful. The medical center was nice and clean. Thank you for the great care.

Way over charged. They classified my wife as high risk when she wasn't. At other hospitals we have been through a concussion, surgery and a broken arm. All far more severe than my wife's issue and all cost less. Insurance will only help with a small portion as they've stated that the hospital is way overcharging. Very very disappointing. Avoid this ER if you can.
This ER is awful!!! $2130.00 just to walk in the door, $1090.00 for a shoulder x-ray, $500.00 more to the doctor, $334.00 misc charge. $3866.00 for a shot in the shoulder. GO ANYWHERE, BUT DON'T GO HERE!!! i DISPUTED THE BILL AND WAS INFORMED THAT AFTER THEY REVIEWED MY CONCERNS, I WAS TREATED AND BILLED CORRECTLY. I REALLY DIDN'T EXPECT THEM TO SAY ANYTHING DIFFERENT. MONEY BEFORE CARE!
Most of the staff was very friendly and caring and went out of their way to help me. Their was a dr that was very rude and would not give me straight answers and said she was going to keep me an extra night simply cuz I was a smoker. Changed my meds and never notified me and didn't do what was supposed to be done. Was to have meds every 4 hours didn't happen. Got a infection after being admitted. Just had the birth of my son there and I can't say enough positive things. They are amazing in labour and delivery and postpartum.....I had a difficult delivery and everyone was amazing and made me feel calm and always informed....Debbie, Amy, Erica and Dr. Tate and all the Doctors on call and of course Ann Marie that gave me my epidural..... This is the best place to have a baby...it makes you realize that there are really great people in the world. Many will say that they are doing there job but one thing is to do yuor job... read more
I am home from the hospital now. Word to the wise. Avoid the medical center of Aurora at ALL COSTS. The only thing worse than the SHEER STUPIDITY of the Nurses that work there is the UNGODLY arrogance of the Doctors. I had myself discharged against medical advice. Which is good. There isn't a single health care "professional" that works there that is COMPETENT to give medical advice. Thank the Goddess for our PCP and REAL NURSES!
