I recently stayed at the Mayflower hotel it was the best hotel I've ever stayed in the room was extremely large and the staff was extremely helpful

A beautiful historic Hotel within walking distance from The White House, Capitol, And the Monument. There is major construction in front and around The White House so if you want to see it, it's best to go another time. Also within walking distance of the Milkin Center of the American Dream Museum- a new free museum which is amazing!! The hotel suite was beautiful, comfortable bed, large closet with a hotel robe. Last night, I drove up the hotel and asked the doorman/commissionaire where the best places to park would be – he kindly directed me to a parking garage around the corner. As I was about to turn, he caught up with me: he had found me a free parking spot right on the corner and even helped me pull in so that I was safely in the spot. Marvelous service and greatly appreciated, allowing me to make the most of the Amnesty International conference. Thank you!

If you want to be robbed and possibly assaulted this is the place for you!!! Single females I would be very worried for here as any staff members permitted to enter your room at any time and they have no cameras in the hallways… Good luck
