Claire was a very great and professional front desk lady. She gave great recommendations for the city.
We had the delight of staying 2 nights at the Marker before our Alaskan cruise started. This hotel is amazing, it’s quirky and out of the box. There are plenty of public lounge areas, some with fireplaces, and a great dining room. We are Australian’s, The Marker served me the best espressos I’ve had in a America ever (this is my 5th trip). We felt at home at The Marker, so much so, we cancelled our 2-night reservation at another hotel at the end of our cruise, and rebooked another two nights at The Marker. So yeah parking is tricky here (valet-only and the team could be friendlier sadly were not), but don't let that stop you. The front desk staff were incredibly super helpful and gave us amazing recs. Our room was roomy with a nice view, especially from the top floor. The hotel itself has this whimsical, cozy vibe that feels like stepping into a Christmas movie or a wizarding hall. A little parking struggle is a small price to pay for this gem 💎 👌
Obwohl 2x Doppelzimmer nachweislich gebucht waren (je 2 Queensize Betten pro Zimmer), verlangte das Hotelpersonal einen Aufschlag für die gebuchte Kategorie. War wie auf einem Bazar. Noch nie so schlechte Gastfreundschaft in den USA erlebt, wie in diesem Hotel. Zum Glück waren wir nur 1 Nacht hier
