As a Dutch citizen we don't have lots of these grand mansions left, and certainly not as a hotel... I'm there as part of a wedding party... The staff is friendly and professional.. Breakfast is okay... Could be more elaborate ( I'm used to big spreads as part of the package). I'm a tea drinker, and asking for tea threw the staff somewhat of guard... Very pretty venue for a wedding. Food was a disappointment!
This property photographs well, but leaves much to be desired in person. Signs of flooding/water damage abounded in the area near our room, as did the smell of mold/mildew. None of the rooms came with microwaves, mini fridge by request only. Took almost an hour to get a towel for the indoor pool. Hot tub was literally half full so the filter wasn't working and grass particles and debris were floating in water. This my second visit to this space, I loved it the first time and loving it now. I have a great room,just finished a wonderful meal. I'm just chilling until my next meeting tomorrow.
