It was my birthday celebration and I picked this place. I love (LOVE) historical mansions and this seemed like a great pick for 3 girlfiends to spend the night. They also promoted their Kentucky Derby Party so that was a bonus. I wanted to love this place and I just couldn't for many reasons. Outside grounds driving up beautiful! The newer buildings they built to add rooms - I thought it looked like a prison - my girlfriend thought a housing project. Does not at all match up to the historical mansion. So glad we asked to see room before we checked in... old & dirty is an understatement! When we told front desk, they were unaccommodating & rude. I asked to speak to a manager, I was told there was not one on.... needless to say we left!
Great wedding venue. Good was fantastic send so was serivce.
