Usually the food is always amazing but the grits were a little off. Other than that I enjoyed it!!
Stopped in during happy hour (3 to 6 PM) and tried the $5 house red. I’m not a wine expert, but it was smooth, not too dry, and easy to drink. I dropped in en route to a show, craving a civilized three-act dinner: appetizer overture, salad intermission, wood-fired finale. Instead, the kitchen staged a one-act sprint—thirty minutes of silence and then bam: all three courses crash the table like a surprise birthday party for my entrée.
