This group likes to take money from you from your deposit and claim they did the repairs. I just watched a video of our prior unit and the carpets were obviously cleaned not fully replaced as they said. Kinda sad that they are this money hungry.
I have called many times for days and came to the office in Dunwoody to speak with someone in corporate after The Crest at Laurel Canyon kept $1000 out of our $1486 deposit that was refundable. The assistant manager Jenna Grassi didn’t show up to do the move out walk through the Friday we moved out.I showed up Monday morning and Jenna was already in the apartment doing the walk through. Never have I ever experienced such unprofessional behavior and unwillingness to help their residents from the property manager, Clement, that was previously at SODO Duluth. Clement and Vince, the assistant property manager, had called us a handful of times indirectly accusing us of loud music after quiet hours shortly after we moved in. I've lived in apartments for the past 16 years across 7 properties. Never have I experienced an apartment management team anywhere near as bad as The Management Group at SODO Duluth (which has since been sold, renamed, and is under different management). The management, particularly Property Manager Clement Nouzies and Assistant Property Manager Vincent Maurer, were the most dismissive, unprofessional, and unwilling to help individuals I have ever experienced at an apartment community. False advertising! Crest at Berkeley Lake website clearly states gated community. I’ve lived here for 2 months and not once has the visitors gate been closed. Explain why this is the case. Having a residence only, remote controlled gate is pointless if anyone including myself can drive to the visitors gate and drive right in. When you click on the picture symbol next to “Gated Community” the only thing that pops up is a picture of the residence only gate but no picture of the visitors gate.
