Wish there were more stores for kids, maybe an arcade.
I don't know who this god-damned douche bag is that you have running the carousel on Sundays but let me tell you something right now. This loser needs to taken aside and reprimanded for his selfish, ignorant actions towards my disabled little cousin. By and large, the Mall has become more and more geared to the youngest generation. There is little that appeals to me other some of the anchor stores.
I like this mall but I wish it was more engaging. A great one for the management team to look at is the mall of nh in manchester. Everytime I go to the Maine mall I'm shocked how dead the food court is. The mall of nh even on hours that should be quiet is more packed than dinner time at the Maine mall. The girls from the store Lush are amazing! We were helped by Kristen? Kristina? She's the one from Pennsylvania. Best customer service I've ever had! The parking lot was a nightmare and the snow mounds made it harder, especially when you turn down one lane and realize there is no parking and no outing to just go around to the next aisle (snow mounds blocked it) -I know this is Maine- this was my first time st this mall and overall, I thought it had a great selection of stores and it was very clean and easy to navigate, Great... read more
The Portland mall in Maine was absolutely lovely They had alot of stores that we do not have..The employees where very helpful and had great people skills..I recommend seeing it in person even given the opportunity to go...Well worth it
Nice place to stay and I like the Prices of Items
Bring back the York steak house. Get rid of some of the shoes stores. Not impress with the animals the kids ride. Some parents just let them do what they want. Others that are in the mall walking by all most get hit. Food court got expensive for food that's not worth it. I like it when I was a teen. Now it's a hang out place for them. Just saying.
There is mostly stores for the teens and young adult crowd, but a relatively good variety. Good food court. One thing that kills me every time my family goes is the absolutely disgusting perfume reek that emanates from Abercrombie and Fitch! I gag every time I walk by; its oppressive. That should simply not be allowed in a public place. Otherwise, the Maine Mall has always been a good outing.
