Normally, an excellent meal here. But tonight's Sausage Plate missed the mark. I couldn't understand how the pierogies could be so tough and dried out. A replacement order looked no better. I'd never heard of deep-fried pierogies. The cooking method ruined them. The shrimp small plate I ordered in its stead was, as usual, excellent.
Main Ingredient recently a Christmas family party including vegetarians and children, expected to last for around 7 hours. On very short notice, they put together a fabulous menu proposal that would suit all the guests. I opted for the "drop & go" service as we wanted a simple buffet for family only. The delivery service included setting up a beautiful food display, all serving utensils and serving trays with the food arranged ready for the party. Had Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas dinner catered with them. Food was amazing, my guests all raved about it AND I got to enjoy my guests and not be stuck in the kitchen. Win-win all the way around.
I had the Crab Benedict, hash browns and tea with orange juice. The food was great. My cousin got the chicken and waffles and polenta and she said it was great. I had a piece of her waffle and it was good. Great breakfast spot! They have a bakery too but I refused to look at the counter. �
An outstanding, favorite, go-to place for us!!! We started our holiday food shopping there yesterday. We had a great time, as always! As always, we'll be back again and again!
