The Luminous Mind is my go to referral for autism and ADHD assessments. Greg Simonson in particular is fantastic to work with and works well with other mental health providers in completing his assessments. They are super thorough and I've had multiple clients have great experiences here. Highly recommend!
My daughter has been seeing Christa Hoel at Luminous Minds for over a year now. Christa has an easy way with her and makes her feel heard and understood. Therapy today is evolved from my day and seems to be more about allowing the person to come to their own conclusions while being supported and feeling safe to explore their genuine feelings. 4 people received testing. I was impressed by one of the providers, another was neutral and the 3rd was not good. I feel the provider that assessed my two daughters failed to see the symptoms present, consider parents/life input and in general didn't feel like she knew what she was doing. It's a turn off when a provider perceives they have to justify their experience in diagnosis from a power perspective. Requested complex testing was given basic. Dr. Ruth Swarthwood stretched my assessment out over 4 visits which made me believe it was the ‘complex’ testing. AJ the first point of contact just gaslights you for the billing. I reached out via email regarding a referral I specifically asked Ruth for and months later still haven’t received communication back from the PHD doc 🧐
