Excellent hotel with comfortable rooms, small but big windows with nice views on NY, not necessarily the skyline.

If you are into the grittier side of NYC, the Lower Eastside is the place to hang out. And the Ludlow is the best hotel in the LES. Hip but not too hip with just enough old school around the edges.
Great place to grab a drink. Dog friendly too
Order the pigalle--tasty, full of depth and great for slow sipping during a date or friends catchup in a swank but laid back atmosphere
When hotelier Sean MacPherson opened the Ludlow last year he totally nailed the unique spirit of Manhattan’s LES. The 175-room hotel is the perfect mix of gritty and stylish, cool and calm.
Amazing views and a location that's very, very hard to beat
So far the staff has been completely incompetent. They gave me the wrong room and took forever to fix that.
