Impeccable Service, Amazing Banana Bread – When I first came to New York on business, I was living out of hotels for two months. The Lucerne was by far my favorite - nessled in the beautiful and homey Upper West Side, it's right near the Park. The staff is impossibly friendly and always remember and warmly welcome you back on subsequent stays. The rooms are large, particularly by New York standards, and the chairs in the room are so comfy! Great Dining and Shops Nearby – I was recommended this Hotel from a business associate and I was not disappointed. The Hotel is located in an historic building where the rooms have been fully refurnished. The staff were helpful and courteous providing plenty of good ideas about where to dine all within walking distance of the hotel. The Metro was also one block away which made it very easy to move around NYC without taxi cabs or a car.
