About this business

Located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, this restaurant resides in a saloon-style building loaded with Western ambiance. Horse saddles hang from the walls and a large wooden bar stretches across the dining room. A tin ceiling adds to the rustically authentic charm. Chef and owner Tim Love is a native Texan, which is obvious in his most-requested specialty, roasted garlic-stuffed beef tenderloin. Other menu items emulate Italian, Spanish, Mexican and Asian fare, including the buffalo rib eye and quail quesadillas.

$210 lunch, good presentation, 1:00ish past lunch rush seating was completely open. Cocktails delightful, appetizers good. Salad, main course, and deserts were good. Not bad for Restaurant week.

The tenderloins were cooked to a tender savory perfection. Enjoyed the mashed potatoes as welll but feel they were loverpriced. Especially since I would've enjoyed a grilled ham and cheese with a. bake potato much more. Both of these women very insecure and work emphatically to separate their efforts and accomplishments from other scientists already moving forward and testing their hypothesis.

If you know anyone who has left anything but a 5 star review on this place you should never trust their opinon on anything...ever again. The food is perfect. The service is perfect. The hosts are perfect. The chefs are perfect. The valet guys are perfect. This is not a great restaurant. This is a PERFECT restaurant.

Business response:

Thank you kindly, Brandon!

IF you can swallow all the upgrades on prices, you might enjoy this place but we won't be returning. They have creative dishes but quite skimpy in some of the entrees. We were fairly conservative with our order and it still ended up being $450 for party of 5. Appetizer upgrades which were one bite of two samples, $25 each. Cottails $20 each. 5 entrees and one side for the grand total. Just not worth the experience. Sorry Lonesome Dove/Tim. Humble yourself just a little and we will return.
