Located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, this restaurant resides in a saloon-style building loaded with Western ambiance. Horse saddles hang from the walls and a large wooden bar stretches across the dining room. A tin ceiling adds to the rustically authentic charm. Chef and owner Tim Love is a native Texan, which is obvious in his most-requested specialty, roasted garlic-stuffed beef tenderloin. Other menu items emulate Italian, Spanish, Mexican and Asian fare, including the buffalo rib eye and quail quesadillas.

When a vegan recommends a steak house, you know it’s great! They always accommodate us with delicious dishes, sides and drinks. Highly recommend.
Food was amazing. The lobster hush puppies, elk sliders, and the rabbit and rattlesnake sausage were really good. Oh; the chili with sirloin chunks was really good too. Our waiter was very attentive and informative. I wish I remembered his name. He was awesome! We were there tonight until closing. We enjoyed every moment. The atmosphere was cozy. We will definitely visit there again
Great food. The Kangaroo Nachos & Lobster Hush Puppies were incredible appetizers, Filet was perfect, Cobe’s Says the Elk as Awesome and Wifey swears the Chicken Fried Steak was the Best Ever.... Even better than Mary’s Cafe.
We had a wonderful 25th Anniversary! The Food and service were fantastic. The Tomahawk steak and truffle orzo was amazing!! Thank you for making this a special occasion on New Year’s Eve!!
Exceptional service, atmosphere, and great food. The Wagyu Strip was amazing!
Happened to watch an old episode of Top Chef Masters that featured Tim Love AND needed to head to the for a last minute gift so decided to check this place out for lunch. Couldn't have been a better decision! Came up the back way after discovering Saunders Park (why did I not know this was there??) and saw a fire pit going with terrace seating above. Was checked in and seated "outside" with a lovely view of the water walk area. Travis and Joe both took care of us...and both were knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. We... read more
