I returned to Lodge at Madrona after being a previous tenant here during Covid. Life happened... with everything shutting down and I ended up leaving years ago. One of my coworkers that still lives here, recently mentioned to me that they had changed management companies and the new company Greystar was a great improvement over the last company. Current resident. Like this place has never been great, it’s Central Tacoma and I guess you get what you pay for. The entrance/exit has had more car accidents in the last year than I’ve ever seen in the 3 years I’ve lived here since they blocked off the way to Mason Ave. People always yelling in the parking lot, homeless drug users strung out or trying to sneak around the back of apartments and camp. I do not feel safe or comfortable living here. I will be moving as soon as possible. I’ve lived here for about a year and it’s been a terrible experience. There have been several instances of gunshots in the complex. I’ve been kept up by neighbors fighting and screaming in the parking lot. Neighbors smoke pot and cigarettes in their apartments + in the stairwells. Theft is common, my husband had his truck broken into. There are many homeless people in the area causing issues. am writing this review with a strong warning to anyone considering applying to these Apartments, especially if they have a past tenant record that has been legally resolved. I was recently denied the opportunity to move back into the complex despite having a current and valid Court Order specifically stating that a property-related debt/judgment on my credit report should be removed and that I do not owe the money to them.
