If I could put 0 stars I would. I have lived at The Locale for my entire freshman year, and I can confidently say I would never choose to live here again. If you’re considering signing a lease, please read this first because I wish someone had warned me. The biggest issue with The Locale is the complete lack of communication and consistency. This place is nothing more than a mirage of hidden charges. They make the students PAY to park in the place they live and Tow their guests at will. Not to mention all the other hidden ridiculous charges. Not a place for college students or parents on a budget. Parents Beware!
I had a terrible experience living at Locale Tallahassee. I thought that, for the price, the living standards would be good, but I was wrong. One of the biggest issues was parking. My car was towed, then right after my parking decal was accidentally removed, and the apartment complex still forced me to pay over $200 for a simple replacement decal. My daughter Sofia has been living at Locale FSU for the past year, and from a guarantor/parent perspective, the experience has been excellent. The value feels very fair for the quality and location, and the proximity to campus makes daily life easy without the need for a vehicle. I also appreciate the opportunities available for students to work within the community, which adds meaningful convenience and experience.
