Trivia night's hopping, too – You think karaoke is raucous? Wait until you've watched 10 people make a simultaneous dive toward the trivia pitcher to throw in their answer before time runs out. The place gets packed on Wednesday night with some of Atlanta's smarmiest know-it-alls. The good bar food (fries, pizzas) and fairly cheap beer keep the crowd here happy.
The ribs rock! – This place is laid back and cool. It's a great place to get away from the new "Buckhead" that the Highlands have become. The staff is friendly, the ribs are great, and the jukebox rocks. I've never been on Karaoke night but it sounds like a blast!
A classic neighborhood hangout – The Local is friendly, atmospheric and inviting --everything a great neighborhood bar should be. Its dark wooden interior sets a great low-key tone for dates or just hanging out with friends.
