Move in was great when I first started living here and management was friendly and helpful however since management was changed, it's been awful. For over 6 months, I was being overcharged for water, sewer, and trash, and despite repeatedly bringing it to management’s attention, nothing was properly resolved. Months ago, I visited this community with genuine interest in renting and expected the leasing staff to provide helpful information about the property, floor plans, amenities, and available units. Unfortunately, the leasing experience was disappointing from start to finish. I lived at The Liberty for over 3 years. Here's my honest review: Pros: 1) Great location- beautiful, serene and quiet location in Golden Valley, just about 15 minutes from Minneapolis 2) Good pricing for a modern apartment 3) Nice and responsive apartment staff Cons: This is the only apartment I know that doesn't have a secure package system. My sister lives in the townhomes there, and I visit her often. Every time I come by, I notice there are always geese and bunnies around the area. I’ve noticed that one of the tenants who lives on the side by the storage company appears to be leaving food out on the lawn for them. The problem is that the area near the visitor parking gets covered in goose droppings, and it’s honestly disgusting having to drive through it and get it on our tires.
