I lived at The Liberty for over 3 years. Here's my honest review: Pros: 1) Great location- beautiful, serene and quiet location in Golden Valley, just about 15 minutes from Minneapolis 2) Good pricing for a modern apartment 3) Nice and responsive apartment staff Cons: This is the only apartment I know that doesn't have a secure package system. The mail room, which is in the lobby, doesn't have a door talk less of access control and most packages get dropped on the floor or shelf even though there is a limited concierge machi... read more
My sister lives in the townhomes there, and I visit her often. Every time I come by, I notice there are always geese and bunnies around the area. I’ve noticed that one of the tenants who lives on the side by the storage company appears to be leaving food out on the lawn for them. The problem is that the area near the visitor parking gets covered in goose droppings, and it’s honestly disgusting having to drive through it and get it on our tires. I love the lease manager she very calm, quiet, and also know how to welcome people at home and I love the place to is very honest quiet place to live
The rudest front desk people I have ever experienced. Also the maintenance refuses to acknowledge any issues with my dishwasher or toilets, despite them clearly running and the dishwasher not heating properly. I was told that the toilets weren't running when maintenance was here (BS), and that I just needed to put jet dry in my dishwasher, but when it's not even breaking down my pods, I think it's more of an issue than they will admit. The new management has not been as approachable and friendly as some recent reviews suggest, which may be influenced or encouraged. As someone who has lived here under both management companies, I’ve seen a noticeable difference. Maintenance services are reliable, but the overall quality of the apartments is fairly low. Pet owners don’t always pick up so watch your step in hallways . I was ultimately glad to finish my lease and move on to a place with better quality.
