Lived here two years. While you don't have a dishwasher or W/D in unit, the price is totally worth it. Also month to month. Utilities included in the price as well. Radiators are loud in the more but nothinig beats free heat. Rose the manager has pride for the building and makes sure all tenants are respectful. Maintence issues were addressed quickly.Only accepts checks for rent, no cards or bank accounts. Super charming and safe building, if you can live without some amenities.

I lived at Lenawee for about a year. I had a very pleasant experience living there. The property manager and the staff are excellent. The apartments have such character and located in the heart of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. If you want an authenticate Seattle Living experience, I would highly recommend living here. I would again in a heartbeat.
I love masonry buildings with medium earthquake risk and no visible retrofit
I lived there in 1996 so I can only comment on my apartment but not current management. The building & my apartment was beautifully maintained & gorgeous floors & incredible view. If you cook/bake the kitchens are small. If you are considering an older building this is it. My top floor corner unit in the back of the building was very quiet with downtown & Space Needle views. If I ever move back to Seattle, this will be my first choice even over newer bldgs.
The Lenawee has a 5 star rating with 8 reviews.
The Lenawee is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
