I am happy with my estate planning so far. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. No complaints so far. Josh Appelgren, the Funding Paralegal, was very helpful in getting the paperwork from my banking accounts organized. David Carrier was easy to talk to and explained everything in terms that were easy to understand. All the others that helped along the way were very friendly and helpful.

Not a good experience for me. It seems that the 5 star reviews are from people commenting on the staff being friendly and helpful and because all the advice and the meetings are free (at first). The 1 star reviews come from people who are trying to implement their trusts and have run into problems. These problems, either cannot be fixed or would be very expensive to fix. We have been working with David Carrier for 4 years. We loved their seminars and up front, fair pricing for their services. They provided everything promised. We just completed our first review due to some real estate changes. Jim Henke did a great job converting what seemed like a complicated situation into a simple transaction. The support staff was excellent. Elyse, Stacy, and Barb are amazing. But beware, if you have real estate to sell, and they refer you to an agent he’s a crook. They promise a reduced commission and actually you get charged more. They referred me to this crook, and then would do absolutely nothing to help rectify the disaster. We had an issue with the sale of my fathers condo on a discrimination issue and I had to hire an outside attorney and pay through the teeth to correct it. Very thorough! They leave no stone unturned. Also appreciate their pro-activeness is maintaining our estate and my father's who also uses Carrier Law. His estate is much more complicated than ours. Carrier contacted us as a routine check-up to make sure any new bank accounts were assigned the current estate name. We had made changes and their call walked us through the process of correcting what we had forgotten to do when new accounts were opened.
