I am very happy that I set up a consult with Jonathan. The 20 min phone consult was free, and he gave me a lot of good information. He even recommended a DIY course of action for me, since that’s significantly cheaper than paying for him to represent me as my attorney. I greatly appreciate his honest advice, even though it means less business for him. I will definitely use his services if my case ends up more complicated than expected. Highly recommend!

Jonathan was extremely helpful, respectful, and friendly when helping me with all my questions and concerns regarding child custody. I had a lot of questions and he took his time explaining things to me and putting me at ease with my concerns. He took time to review all my documents beforehand so he had an idea of what we needed to discuss and a plan of action. I looked endlessly for an attorney that embodied everything Mr. Tanaka was and is. If you’re looking for someone to have your back and truly care for you then stop looking. He is dedicated to his work and will do whatever he can in his power to guide and help you. I’m forever thankful for his help through my divorce. If I ever need an attorney again, he’s the first person I plan to reach out too.

Mr. Tanaka was very patient, transparent and knowledgeable . I was out of state while he worked my case, he was always responsive and gave sound advise. Mr. Tanaka is not the type of lawyer that will over charge you for services, he actually refunded me for the funds not used from his retainer fee. Jonathan is a good steward of his profession.

I've only interacted with Mr. Tanaka over email, but each of my interactions with him have been highly helpful. I reached out once with questions about a prenup and then again about name change after marriage. I can tell he is a man of integrity, responds quickly, and actually cares about people--even if they aren't actual clients. The marker of a good professional is when they advise you in a way that doesn't benefit them, and that's exactly what Mr. Tanaka did for me.
