We had a great stay! The cottage was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Both indoor and outdoor furniture was comfortable. Towels were provided, along with a sofa cover for our dog. We loved that there were 2 types of grills along with a firepit available for us. We had great communication with our hosts and will look here first for our next trip to Gladstone and the surrounding area.

This place was perfect for what we wanted. The cabin is small but has everything you need for a retreat in the U.P. including air conditioning and a full kitchen. The bathroom is a bit small, but functional. The pictures they had of the cabin were very accurate to what you can expect. We loved the bonfire pit (the hosts even provided some wood and kindling and s’mores ingredients to get us started). They also provided paddle boats, canoes, life jackets, and yard games. Best cabins around. The hosts are so genuinely nice and pleasant. They have several kayaks available as a courtesy of their stay and a wonderful beach to access the water. Cabins are very comfortable and reasonably priced. Grills on-site and fire pits with wood are a really nice touch too. Highly recommend!

The cabin was cute, cozy, and clean. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, wifi was great, and it was easy to launch our boat right from the property. The hosts were responsive and available. The location was ideal for us. We had a great week!!

My husband and I and our 2 boxers stayed at The Last Resort for a 10 year Anniversary getaway. We loved our stay here, the owners were so helpful and friendly and the cabins had everything you could need already at them. The cottage was very clean upon arrival and I love that they had a couch cover for the dogs to feel at home and not dirty the couch! The boat launch and loading area could definitely use some improvement but worked OK for our small flat bottom boat. Larger boats may want to use the public launch, just down ... read more
