The team at The Lantern in Franklin is professional, well-trained, and compassionate. They work together well to care for their residents, supporting each other to do the amazing work they consistently do every day. They get to know their residents, treating them with dignity, and understand their individual needs. We have struggled for several years to find good care for mom, and we are so grateful for her new home.
The only thing good about our experience with the Lantern in Franklin was our initial interview. Everything else was an absolute nightmare for us. We had to move mom to this facility in an emergency because she was incorrectly place at Morning Pointe in Spring Hill (a partner community). She had mixed dementia with several co-morbidities, and they put her in Assisted Living and soon after sent her to a geriatric psychiatric facility which felt like an insane asylum/prison because she wasn't behaving appropriately. Working with the Morning Pointe team is always a pleasure. They are deeply committed to providing excellent care for their residents. I am very impressed by their team.
My mom is dead because of this place...now they are denying me her medical records...
