Update 9/10/2025 Just spoke to sales coordinator Lela at approx. 9:50 am this morning. I was outside at the entrance and she didn’t even come out the door. She tried to walk back inside and I said I had questions about the program and brochure— Do any of the Alzheimer patients come out for sunshine. She quickly said yes and I said where cause I NEVER see ANY PATIENTS during my DAILY MORNING AFTERNOON OR EVENING WALKS. She said they go outside and I said where? She then said they get “sun inside”?!! Never knew sunlight comes ... read more

They fired my wife because other employees kept complaining on her saying that she didn't do her job good enough but that was the same people who sit back and fix their hair for 2 hours while she was the only one doing anything while assisting the patients. Note: my lovely wife is dealing with certain medical issues that is some what crippling for her but she still showed up and did everything she could to be a team player. I cannot say enough nice things about this facility. Our experience with them thus far is that they are are top notch from the management team right on down to the staff they employ. Lela Cordelle, their Director, is awesome at her job and a definite asset to this company. I highly recommend this facility for your loved one.

Our experience with the Lantern has been heartfelt and supported. Lelah is an incredible director who has been assuring, educational and a valuable resource. We continually heard her name and The Lantern as the best memory care in the area. We agree based on our experience to date
