I am not pleased with how things are handled at The Landing. When we moved out, they charged us a crazy sum. Later, I discovered that former tentants had remarked the same thing about the circumstance. Be advised; after you move out, the staff will endeavor to find minor damages that were not your responsibility. In the future, I would urge that you consider and find a nice and trustworthy apartment.
Where do I begin. What seemed to be a great place for my daughter to live, turned into a nightmare for us after we moved out. We ignored the dirty hallways, trash all over the parking lot, loud neighbors with barking dogs and screaming babies. We ignored the politics of the parking lot and the shady activities in the parking lot. We were good tenants and at move out we left the apartment spotless. I lived at the landing for 2 years and was extremely disappointed by how the leasing managers, and office in general, has handled our move out. My roommate got a call from the collections office stating that we owed the landing money after our move out, which was NOT told to us BY THE LANDING!! We then contacted the landing and they told us that we owe them $1,400+ for “damages” done to the apartment. Stephen was great with our tour and entertaining too!
My wife and I just completed a tour on 6/5/25 with Stephen Guber. Stephen was professional, energetic, knowledgeable, and showed a genuine interest in our plans to relocate to St. Augustine. This was not the only property we visited but our experience with Stephen stood out among others. All the properties we visited were very clean and well maintained.
