The Lamp Post is the BEST diner in Akron. The atmosphere is clean and fun. The service is friendly and fast the prices are low and the quality of food is excellent. I have had several meals there and have called in orders when I was in a rush. There are several surrounding fast food places but I pass them by when I know I will get a quality mor healthy meal there. I recommend it to everyone because they have a variety of food for everyone.
The hash browns were not done no taste My rye toast was not toasted coffee awful diet coke was flat. We had to shoo flies away. Ugh
To bad their manager treats their loyal employee like crap.
Love the decor the club burger was very good and the fries were the best.
Breakfast is good all day long. I have never been disappointed
I live 0.2 miles from the lamp post and love walking down for breakfast on the weekends. I get the southern smothered biscuits and gravy platter and love it! I also really like the buffalo chicken wrap. The new building is nice and the waitresses are very attentive. We are lucky to have a neighborhood diner that's open 24/7!
