Haven’t been so mad about a takeout order in years. I got ‘Da Mochiko Plate’ - the portion size was honestly so disrespectful. $18 for rice and barely one chicken thigh….felt like I got robbed. The chicken was ok. Nothing special and a bit dry. I took a bite of the Mac salad and didn’t touch it again - it tasted sour like it had been left in the sun all day. It’s one thing to rip me off, it’s another to try and get me sick too. Save your money and literally eat anywhere else
Early on, they didn’t pipe spicy sauce all over the chicken on Da Katsu Plate. Now, they add the spicy sauce. There is no place to tell them not to add the sauce or to put it on the side when ordering through DoorDash. The reason I’m ordering Da Katsu Plate instead of Da Spicy Katsu plate is to avoid the spice. So I’m holding off on further orders until the option to avoid the spicy sauce becomes available.
I ordered on DoorDash, and I wish I had read the reviews before I picked this place. The food portions were relatively small. I ordered a special on DoorDash, the two chicken katsu meals for $18.00. I am pretty sure they give me a regular-sized meal in two containers. I wish they would not try to deceive customers to make a buck; the food was not that great. I would never order from this place again. My order was placed via DoorDash. Not only did they get my order wrong, but the food quality compared to the price is pathetic. The portions are really small and the quality and taste is average. An objective review here. I would avoid ordering from this place.
Ordered takeout on Saturday. Ordered the combo chicken and beef. The portions were laughable - like three pieces of chicken and a tiny bit of beef. Upsetting based on the price we paid. My girlfriend got the garlic shrimp and hers was even more hilariously lacking. Five tiny shrimp on a big bed of rice.
