I rented an apartment in Alton at Central Park, which is owned by Kolter Multifamily. They sent a notice telling me that I would receive my $483 security deposit back. They have yet to return the deposit. It is over 60 days. They do not answer calls, they do not answer emails and there are many postings stating that this company does not return security deposits. I have never encountered such rudeness as I did on Wednesday, June 5th, in the sales department of the RIVELLA complex! It all started when the sales manager, Marian Madonia, began talking to me as soon as I entered. However, upon learning that my realtor could not come with me, her demeanor changed, and she simply turned around and left. The nightmare began after we signed the sales order! We aren’t the only ones. We live in Canopy Creek in Palm City FL and every time we needed anything it was all new workers showing up. Everyone leaves this company so no one knows what the other one said! Typical! No one took responsibility for anything! They would come out 6 times to fix a light switch that was never installed correctly! They finally had a young woman crawl up into the attic and drop the electric to the switch to install it! Terrible builder. They are not responsive at all. We still have plaster all over our walls and have had for over a month and a half. The vendors they choose are cheap and sloppy. Do not have them build your home. Five months and still working through a long punchlist. Excuses, excuses excuses. We can’t entertain, we have holes in our walls from their contractors they have brought in to try to fix things.
