The staff here is truly amazing! always taking the up most care of my family members. all the activities or crafts that they provide for my grandparents is truly appreciated. the detail that they go for meal planning and making sure that their is food my grandparents will actually eat is so sweet i haven't seen anywhere else. one of the best places open in ottumwa
Kindred House has taken the utmost care of my Grandparents. They were cared for as well as family would have cared for them--better even. Our family was always welcomed and encouraged to visit, and the residents all became good friends. The staff really care about the residents, deeply and personally. They always went above and beyond to care about the things that my grandparents cared about. I'm counting down the years until I can move in!
The Kindred House has been a God send! My husband is not your typical client for a facility like this. He has a neurological disease that leads to dementia and is only in his early 50’s. He is in the later stages of the disease and so now to a point where we can benefit from Adult Day Care services as well as overnight respite to allow myself to go out of town on occasion. If you are looking for a place to send your loved ones- The kindred House would be my 1st choice! That is a safe-home environment that is filled with the most compassionate heart warming people who take the time to spend with them! They have many activities to keep your loved ones busy throughout their day along with coffee and snacks! ( and much more!) There’s no place I would want my family to be other than with them! They will become…FAMILY!❤️
I’m so thankful for this place to be available for my grandmother! The interior design is absolutely beautiful and you can feel at home living in The Kindred House. The meals, care, and atmosphere are some of the best around. Ottumwa was in need of these services, and I’m extremely glad this team formed here! Extra shoutout to Angie, Emily, and Christine!! Constantly being the best for the residents and answering all questions for family members👏🏻
