My older daughter went here to finish High School. It is much organized than public school full of worksheets like cabbage patch. She finished High School half year earlier than her peers. She enrolled college overseas and college in US at the same time. She was able to complete all courses at her own pace without being under pressure of teachers who are in Public school more baby sitters than someone who is trying to teach someone anything.

I am very impressed with the keystone’s school guidance department. I asked them if they had the grades and test scores of my daughter from closed classes and within minutes they sent them to me. They are very patient and kind and I never had one rude person and believe me I ask them a lot of questions. Thank you again and keep up the good work.

Business response:

Thank you for your kind words, Melissa! We are glad that you and your student had a wonderful experience with The Keystone School.

Well, I do and I don’t. I started Keystone in the middle of eighth grade - late 2015. I had just left my public school after having a lot of trouble. The administration were very welcoming. When the time came to select courses, they were very informative and showed they truly cared about my education. The first year went very well. Teachers were responsive and I loved my courses. I had a variety of elective courses to choose from each year - I chose Photography my first year. By the beginning of the next year, I started to n... read more

Attending Keystone National High School has given me a special perspective: I have learnt that education doesn’t need to be rigid. Whether one learns at a brick-and-mortar school or online does not really matter. With hard work, we can all arrive at our goals, though the paths we take to get there are different. What I enjoyed most at Keystone was the flexibility Keystone provided for me to zip through courses I found easy and take more time on courses I struggled with. This flexibility allowed me to go on holiday while some... read more

The Keystone School offers a brilliant high school experience for any student who’s seeking creative freedom and adults who are willing to support their dreams and passions. I thoroughly enjoyed the two years I spent at Keystone and will carry what I have learned from their courses for the rest of my years.

Poorly designed programs, very very hard to navigate. We were told we would have so much help and guidance, which never happened. EXTREMELY rude staff (after the initial enrollment process of course). I would give a -5 stars if possible. And of course they'll copy/paste the same basic response as they have on every review. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! RUN FAR AWAY!

Business response:

Jenny, The Keystone School provides an independent learning environment for students that allows them to work through their courses at a pace that works best for them and their schedule. In this regard, students and families must reach out to us to let us know that they need assistance. There are many people here to help students and families in their Keystone education, but it is up to the family and student to reach out for that assistance. Certified teachers are available for students who need help with course content and... read more

When a teacher says that their health class is more useful or will get the student further in life or that their class is more important than learning english or math...I have a problem with that. When this teacher starts a discussion and asks for the students opinion then proceeds to tell the student their opinion is wrong...I have a problem with that. I honestly don't think this teacher is up to date with the progress that has taken place in the last 50 years let alone the current school year. I am so proud of my daughter ... read more

Business response:

Before you register here - know that there are no teachers actually TEACHING. It is entirely 'self-taught'. Your child will read online (and physical books in some courses) and they will watch (extremely creepy/quasi-animated) videos. My son had questions about a science concept, called the science "teacher" and she was clueless about the topic. She could not answer any of my son's questions with confidence. She even said that if her answers weren't accurate / correct and there was a test question that he'd get wrong because... read more

Business response:

Christine, The Keystone School provides an independent learning environment for students and families to move at their own pace and in a manner that works best for them. Within our elementary program, parents work as the Learning Coaches and leaders in their student’s education. In our middle and high school programs, students work through their course content online with highly recommended parent and accountability partner support in the home. Certified teachers are available for assistance with course content and assignmen... read more

Nothing positive to say about this school. They are behind the times and useless in prepping our kids for the real world. They require nonsensical work just to keep kids busy not actively engaged and learning. I had multiple teacher friends look at assignments and they couldn't make heads or tails of the information.
