As a former athlete, the environment here is exactly what I needed. It genuinely reminds me of being back at practice. The energy is high, the atmosphere is focused, and it pushes you to perform at your best. A huge shoutout to my trainer, Parker, who was incredible. I’m out of shape but he kept me motivated and constantly pushed me to keep going, even when things got tough. If you’re looking for a place that combines professional level motivation with a community that grinds, this is it.
You will be motivated and pushed to your own limits with encouragement throughout each workout.
Great gym! If you want to hold yourself accountable, with some great people with the same mindset ( coaches and fellow gym goers getting after it).. then you won’t be disappointed with your choice in The Junkyard
I am a powerlifter, So me a cardio don’t have a good relationship. But at Junkyard they mix weight lifting, running, and athleticism. Making me feel like a rounded athlete again. I very Much enjoy these workouts and at 280lbs I can Still get through them pretty well and feel great after! Matt coached both my classes and he is amazing! Very in tune with the room, pushing and motivating everyone equally!
