Advocates never there! Always gone they are no help. I understand people have life issues or busy but this is by far worst I delt with. They don’t help with housing assistance programs no type of resources only thing they help with is a nurse or a counselor other than that they don’t care about your living situation
So I just got off the phone with them, and the intake specialist was very kind. I was asked about my sexual abuse and even asked about my kids' names and ages. The abusers name, age and address, just for them to tell me that I don't qualify for their shelter. That's pretty heartbreaking given the situation I'm in. So I can only assume what some other reviews stated as true they do pick and choose who they decide to help regardless of your situation. I'm praying for anyone going through dv or any tough times.
My advocate was very helpful, informative and helped me through filing a protective order. Also provided me with helpful resources for my needs.
They’re overly strict they have no type of sympathy they will kick you out and give u 2 hours to pack and leave and will rush you to leave when your in the middle of packing and trying to figure out your next move…But what I will say is they do have good programs and they did me a favor cuz same day they kicked me out I got my apartment ☺️!
