About this business

With a well-put together Chinese menu that features a few Cantonese staples as well as owner Alvin Lin's time-honored family recipes,The Joy Luck reflects simple Chinese zen. The restaurant is cozy and decorated in positive elements, with a mish mash of wood-decked and bamboo interiors amid wise Confucian sayings. Start off with the Pork Soup Dumplings or the Egg Drop Soup for soup enthusiasts. Let usual suspects such as General Tso's Chicken give way to more personalized recipes from Lin's repertoire, such as the Short Ribs... read more

Great place. The food is very well executed and the staff is professional and knowledgeable. One of my favorite places to eat and drink. The soup dumplings will rip your face off. (In a good way!)

The kimchi quesadilla is absolutely amazing!! I use to make them as a kid, but seeing them on a menu made me so excited to try it. I loved it! I also recommend the tempura fried ice-cream.

You can taste the clear and present difference between this and say a place like Cafe Mimosa. It's nice to have a legit fresh inexpensive alternative to Asian cuisine.

Ubelievable. I have not had duck this good since I don't remember when, and I like to try duck anywhere I go. Do yourself a favor; Pork soup dumplings, and Beijing Duck. You won't know what to do with yourself aftward. Many compliments to the minds behind Joy Luck, and the amazing food they produce.

Amazing! Loved the pan-fried dumplings, the spicy Singapore noodles and the craft cocktails!
