Real class D slum lords. Refuse to answer their phones or talk to renters. Rent out units with dead bugs in the kitchen and blood stains on the counter then refuse to answer calls or emails and instead hire a call center to screen their calls even though they don't respond to messages left there. Choose them if you're either looking to turn your property into a slum or want to live in a slum.
Never work with Ian Joseph!! 1) absolute lack of communication skills. He is outright rude. It takes forever to get a response from him and when he does, it’s usually a short (rude) sentence. It takes an act of God to get him on the phone. 2) He makes you jump through ridiculous hoops. He’s the only company that requires cashier checks to be hand delivered for the security deposit. We rented from miller Laine property management for many years only in the end to be screwed by them. We left our rental looking cleaner than it was when we moved in. Professionally cleaned, the whole works. Customer service from Christen has been absolutely horrible since the last lease we signed and gave our written notice. When we informed her we were in the process of buying a house she said we can either sign another lease or be out by Sunday, only in the end to be charged $3800. Ian Jospeh managed a property I helped find for a family member. He is very hospitable, quick to respond and when he found out we live near him, told us to stop by to say hi. We had a very good experience with him and would recommend others to him.
HORRIBLE customer service! They are lying crooks - stole our security deposit and then charged us an astronomical amount for painting and cleaning! They refuse to supply is with invoices. See ya in small claims court! STAY AWAY FROM PROPERTIES MANAGED MY MILLER LAINE!!!!

COMMUNICATION! Anytime we have an issue with our property it takes MONTHS for it to resolve and countless ignored messages and emails! They are patronizing and disrespectful! Please please do not use them they are over priced and will not make you a priority even as a homeowner
I had a kitchen faucet burst a few days ago. I called Ian Joseph Miller Laine a few days ago because I had a kitchen pipe burst while doing dishes. He called my right back and so did the lady from maintenance to let me know they called the Plummer. Pipe was fixed the next morning. I also asked the Plummer to look at the bathroom faucet because of a draining issue. He did also a good job fixing the issues.
